Almost midnight over here in Belgium. Time to post our song of the year 2024 before we hit 2025.

This track, from their album Romance, is a departure from their previous work, with a brooding atmosphere and introspective lyrics.

Grian Chatten’s vocals are more restrained here, but still captivating as he delivers lines like “I’m gonna be a starbuster” with an almost hypnotic intensity. The instrumentation builds slowly, with a driving bassline and swirling synths creating a sense of unease. “Starbuster” shows a new side to the band, and it’s definitely worth a listen.
